Azure DevOps Architect (9-12 yrs)

Job Description :

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines/Arm Templates, ADO Connections, Azure AD Management, User/Group Access management, Stakeholder management, Release management, Change Management.

Good to have : PowerShell scripting Azure Infrastructure.

Responsibilities :

- Design and implement robust Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) across various projects.

- Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration on Azure.

- Configure and manage Azure DevOps artifacts, repositories, and security settings for secure code management and access control.

- Utilize Azure DevOps extensions and integrate them with other DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to create a comprehensive DevOps ecosystem.

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement optimized workflows.

- Monitor and analyze DevOps pipelines for performance optimization and identify bottlenecks.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Azure DevOps and cloud technologies.

- Maintain a strong understanding of security best practices and implement them within the DevOps lifecycle.

- Document DevOps processes, configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing and ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications :

- 9+ years of experience in software development, system administration, and DevOps principles.

- Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

- In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including Azure DevOps, Azure Active Directory, Azure VMs, Azure Container Instances, Azure Storage, and Azure Monitor.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM).

- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python for automating tasks.

- Strong understanding of version control systems like Git. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- A passion for DevOps and staying current with the latest trends and technologies.

Bonus Points :

- Experience with Azure DevOps extensions and integrations.

- Experience with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.

- Certifications in Azure DevOps, Azure Fundamentals, or other relevant Microsoft certifications.
