Senior Automation Engineer - Telecom/Networking Domain (4-15 yrs)

PrimeSoft is seeking candidates with experience in testing and automation of networking products.

Job Description :

Required Skills :

- Experience in Telecom / Networking domain and knowledge of test automation concepts, practices, and procedures.

- Strong experience in test automation using one or more scripting language using Python

- Experience in testing Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols and products like switches and routers

- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues.

- Ability to learn quickly and adapt according to delivery timelines.

- Knowledge of DevOps tools (GIT, Jenkins, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Ansible etc.) is a plus.

- Self-starter, process-oriented, and the ability to work independently and with teams.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities :

- Design, Develop and continuously improve test automation framework and tools in Python.

- Leverage existing and external tools (3rd Party Open-source tools) to incrementally improve automation infrastructure.

- Develop automation infrastructure for commercial test Equipment solutions (e.g., IXIA, ONT, Spirent etc.), libraries.

- Develop test cases based on system requirements and customer use cases

- Develop automation framework & test scripts, Automation test plans & procedures, maintain test scripts and analyze test results.

- Conduct code reviews for Automation framework modifications.

- Conduct diagnostic analysis and troubleshooting to resolve complex automation software issues

- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

Education : BE / B.Tech / MCA Degree.

Experience : 4 to 15 years of experience in test automation
