Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Scalability Engineer to join our team of innovators who are passionate about building scalable and efficient systems. As a Scalability Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve scalability bottlenecks, optimize system architecture, and develop innovative solutions to meet our growing business needs.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient systems to support high traffic and large datasets

Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve scalability bottlenecks and optimize system architecture

Develop and implement automated testing and monitoring tools to ensure system reliability and performance

Analyze system performance metrics and identify areas for improvement

Develop and maintain technical documentation of system architecture and design

Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system availability

Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and services

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve system scalability and performance

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

5+ years of experience in scalability engineering, software development, or a related field

Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C++

Experience with cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and containerization (e. g. , Docker)

Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git

Nice to Have:

Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB, or Redis

Knowledge of machine learning and data analytics

Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Kubernetes, Ansible, or Jenkins

Certification in cloud computing or scalability engineering
