Java Backend Developer - Spring Boot (9-10 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices for development and code reviews.

- Work on developing RESTful APIs and web services for efficient data interaction.

- Participate in system design, implementation, and integration of new features with scalable and modular design principles.

- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define application features and improve software usability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, scalability, and other technical challenges.

- Implement and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality code.

- Ensure application security and data protection through proper coding and development practices.

- Optimize application performance, both at the code level and database level.

- Continuously explore and implement new technologies and frameworks to improve development processes and application quality.

- Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Contribute to the technical documentation of the project.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming principles.

- Solid experience with Spring Boot framework and Microservices architecture.

- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- A passion for learning new technologies and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Skills & Experience :

- Experience with React.js or Angular.

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
