Role & responsibilities

• Ensure on time clearance of sea and air consignment by liaising with various custom and port authorities across India.
• To co-ordinate and follow up with Shipping company, Insurance company for consignment and insurance claim settlement.
• To co-ordinate with banks for various import and export related documents and address discrepancy in timely manner if any.
• To coordinate the movement of material from various port to warehouse and vice versa by co-ordinating with inland transporter
• Negotiating with CHA, shipping company, Transporter, CFS to get best rates and services and periodically review contract price.
• To be fully aware of the import /export policies and give recommendation for benefit of the company
• To stay abreast with time to time updates on FTAs to get benefits on custom duty charges
• Receive review and process documentation such as B/L, AWB each shipment accurately.
• To co-ordinate with Bank for CIF payment.
• To understand duty structure, do calculation and arrange for the payment of the same.
• To organise for the duty refund and various duty incentives schemes
• Setting SOP for any import export related jobs
• Prepare and review Monthly MIS

• Graduate/PG/ Diploma IMPEX Management
• Negotiation Skills
• Decision Making Skills
• Good in Planning & Organization
• Process Oriented
• Analytical Skills
• Good in Follow-up
• Well versed with EXIM Procedure, Duty Structure, EXIM Documentation
• Well Aware of FTA Policies
• Well versed with MS Office
