Pixuate - Networking Lead - Routing & Switching (5-8 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for a talented and experienced Networking Lead to join our team having hands-on experience in end-to-end activities in setting up infrastructure & product deployment and management.

As a Networking Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving the successful implementation and management of Pixuate's products at customer sites.

You will be responsible for leading a team of network engineers, ensuring the seamless deployment, configuration, and maintenance of our network infrastructure.

Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions that meet our clients' evolving needs.

What do we expect from this role?

Network and Server Management :

- Design, configure, and manage LAN, WAN, wireless, routers, switches, and firewalls.

- Troubleshoot network connectivity and optimize performance.

- Implement security measures (firewalls, intrusion detection, etc.)

- Manage physical/virtual servers, backups, and disaster recovery plans.

- Optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and implement security best practices.

Team Leadership and Project Management :

- Mentor and guide team members; conduct performance reviews.

- Plan and deliver projects on time and within budget.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve risks and issues.

- Document project activities and lessons learned.

Client Engagement and Support :

- Provide remote and on-site support as needed.

- Engage with clients to understand and fulfil technical requirements.

- Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting support; resolve escalations.

You would be great at this job, if you have below mentioned competencies :

- 5-8 years of experience in network engineering, server administration, or a related field.

- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model) and server technologies.

- Proficiency in network and server management tools e., Cisco, Juniper, VMware, Linux.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Certifications in networking CCNA, CCNP, CISP etc. is good to have

- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) is good to have.

- Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) is good to have.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal

- Willingness to travel extensively across the country
