Job Description - Product Manager- Billing and Inventory Management

Role Purpose:

As a Product Manager for Billing and Inventory Management, you will own the product lifecycle from concept to execution. You will be responsible for delivering solutions that optimize billing, invoicing, and inventory management for Pine Labs merchant clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. Working closely with engineering, design, design, marketing, and operations, you will help define the product vision, prioritize features, and bring new functionality to life that enables businesses to streamline their financial operations and inventory processes.

Responsibilities we entrust you with:

- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Billing and Inventory Management features that align with Pine Labs' broader business goals.

- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and gather customer feedback to shape product direction and identify emerging opportunities.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment with Pine Labs overall product portfolio and business objectives.

- Lead the end-to-end product development process, from requirements gathering and prioritization to execution and launch

- Write clear and detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria that translate business needs into technical solutions

- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and alignment with product goals.

- Ensure smooth coordination with design teams to deliver intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for both merchants and internal users

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the Billing and Inventory Management features.

Relevant work experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

- 2-3 years of experience in product management, preferably with a focus on billing systems, inventory management, or SaaS platforms.

- Strong knowledge of billing workflows, invoicing processes, and inventory management systems.

- Familiarity with payment gateways, ERP systems, CRM, and financial reporting tools.

- Ability to define product requirements and translate them into user stories and technical specifications.
