Security Engineer - Information Security

To be part of the Security Engineering team, you will manage, maintain, and enhance the security engineering capabilities in India. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing security platforms and solutions in alignment with enterprise security frameworks, policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Lead security platform engineering efforts, including tool development, integrations, management, and automation.
• Design, configure, test, deploy, and maintain security platforms/solutions to meet security standards and industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, legal, and security frameworks.
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, configuration baselines, benchmarks, and SOPs.
• Identify security vulnerabilities, conduct readiness audits, and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical security leadership in enterprise security platform implementations and transformation projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and enhance security operations.
• Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) evaluations for new security technologies and solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert, influencing stakeholders, technology owners, and developers on security best practices.
• Promote a strong IT security culture across the organization.

• Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or STEM fields (or equivalent experience).
• Experience :
  • 10+ years in Information Systems, including 5+ years in security engineering within large-scale enterprises.
  • Hands-on experience with security platforms such as Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), Secure Web Gateways (SWG), Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB), Security Posture Management (SPM), Vulnerability Assessment (VA), and Attack Surface Management (ASM).
  • Knowledge of multi-cloud environments, cloud-native services, and complex integrations.
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming (PowerShell, Python, Shell scripting, etc. ).
• Skills :
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to document technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience collaborating with vendors and leveraging multi-vendor environments.
