Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Physics Teacher to join our esteemed educational institution. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in physics, excellent communication skills, and a deep commitment to fostering student learning and development. As a Physics Teacher for the senior secondary level, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, designing curriculum, conducting assessments, and providing guidance to students pursuing physics as a subject in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
Role & responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver comprehensive and engaging physics lessons to senior secondary students (Classes IX, X, XI and XII), following the CBSE curriculum guidelines.
2. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry among students.
3. Utilize various teaching strategies and instructional techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles and maximize student engagement.
4. Create and implement effective lesson plans, incorporating appropriate instructional materials, resources, and technology to enhance student understanding.
5. Assess and evaluate student performance through regular assignments, tests, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
6. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress, and effectively communicate the same to students and parents/guardians.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects, experiments, and activities that integrate physics concepts with other subjects.
8. Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field of physics and incorporate relevant developments into the curriculum to ensure the content remains current and engaging.
9. Assist students in their career aspirations related to physics, including providing guidance on higher education opportunities, competitive exams, and scientific research.
10. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment, promoting respect, integrity, and ethical conduct among students.
Qualifications & Preferred candidate profile
1. A master's degree in Physics or a closely related field is required. B.Ed. is Mandatory.
2. A minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level, specifically following the CBSE curriculum.
3. In-depth knowledge and understanding of the CBSE curriculum for senior secondary physics.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and motivate students.
5. Proficient in incorporating technology and multimedia resources into teaching practices.
6. Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
7. Passion for physics education and a commitment to promoting scientific literacy.
8. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
9. Familiarity with innovative teaching methodologies, active learning strategies, and project-based learning approaches.
10. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
