PHP Developer - Symfony Framework (4-10 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with a strong background in Symfony and a passion for developing high-quality applications. In this role, you will work closely with a cross-functional team to build, maintain, and upgrade web applications, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance. If you have a track record of Symfony upgrades and migrations, along with a solid foundation in PHP, MySQL, and modern frontend frameworks like React.js, we would love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP with a primary focus on the Symfony framework.

- Handle Symfony upgrades and migrations to ensure applications remain up-to-date and secure.

- Design, optimize, and manage databases using MySQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.

- Write and execute unit tests with PHPUnit to maintain code quality and reliability.

- Collaborate with front-end developers and integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic using React.js.

- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve application issues and implement new features.

- Ensure that the developed code is scalable, secure, and adheres to best practices.

- Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and technical documentation.

Qualifications :

- Experience: 4+ years in PHP development with a strong emphasis on Symfony framework (experience in upgrades and migrations is a plus).

- Frontend Skills : Proficient in React.js and JavaScript.

- Database Management : Expertise in MySQL, including database design, optimization, and troubleshooting.

- Testing : Hands-on experience with PHPUnit or similar testing frameworks.

- Development Skills : Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and best practices.

- Version Control : Proficiency in using Git for version control.

- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

- Good understanding of security practices and performance optimization techniques.
