9series - PHP Developer - Laravel Framework (4-6 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.

- Design and implement APIs and backend services to support front-end development.

- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code while adhering to industry best practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

- Ensure database integration and management, including data migration and optimization.

- Implement security measures to protect data and application integrity.

- Create and maintain project documentation, including system specifications and user guides.

- Stay updated with the latest developments in Laravel and PHP frameworks.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong experience with the Laravel framework and PHP programming language.

- Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js or React (optional but preferred).

- In-depth knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases, including schema design and optimization.

- Experience with RESTful API development and integration.

- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

- Understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming principles.

- Knowledge of server and hosting environments (e., Apache, Nginx).

- Experience with Composer and package management in Laravel.

- Familiarity with task schedulers and queues in Laravel.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with front-end libraries/frameworks like Vue.js or React.

- Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.

- Experience with Laravel ecosystem tools such as Nova, Forge, or Horizon.

- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.

Education & Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 2+ years of professional experience working with Laravel.
