• Hes responsible for WMS & FG Inventory Mgt completely Barcode enabled for the respective SBU, Pharma and Cosmetics & Perfumery in Plant as the case may be using SAP-HANA, WM/EWM Module. Also, working experience of ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval System) can be an added advantage.
• He’s responsible for maintaining good health of FG by proper preservation, Accuracy in stocks, systematic handling, adhering to the Pest control procedures & by maintaining good housekeeping.
• He’s responsible for maintaining day to day WMS processes Barcode enabled viz a viz FG Receipts, Issues, Export Palletization, Loading/Unloading etc.
• He’s responsible for managing MHEs (Material Handling Equipment’s) operation adhering to the set safety norms
• He’s responsible to manage Manpower (SMP & PMP) adhering `budgeted nos.
• He’s responsible for managing WMS for hired warehouses in the similar way warehouses being managed within the plant.
• He’s responsible to control overall Warehousing Cost including R&M, S&S & consumables & ensure budget is not exceeded.
• Giving the necessary instructions to the Warehouse Supervisors for the smooth

operations of Warehousing & Inventory Mgt. function.

• In case of any abnormalities, take corrective actions.
• Responsible for the department related IT activities.
• Responsible for updating ISO documents and records.
• Responsible for responding to every customer complaint with Corrective & Preventive Actions
• Responsible to handle Internal & external IMS/ISO audits by Certification Authorities, time to time, handle customer visits/audits & also FG Physical Verification Audits by Internal & External Auditors
• Responsible for maintaining health of Equipment’s, Tools, Machines being used for WMS operation viz a viz Dock Levellers, Stretch Wrap Machines, Auto Strapping Machines, Shrink Heat Guns, Lashing Tools, Barcode Scanners (HH Devices), Digital Logbooks etc
• Taking care of the safety precautions during the operations.
• Responsible for the good housekeeping across all the Warehouses.
• Monitoring and taking corrective action for energy management.
• Take various improvement initiatives under Manufacturing Excellence viz a viz, Parivartan/AET including FIPs/DMAIC etc. for the continuous improvement wrt Cost Reduction, Improve Productivity, Reduce Manpower, Strengthen Internal Processes etc
• Ensures necessary Trainings are imparted to the Secondary Manpower & Primary Manpower including staff/executives/managers.
• Responsible for preparing & circulating WMS related MIS reports on a set frequency
