Patent Opposition Role (2-6 yrs)

Job Description:

- We are looking for a Patent Opposition professional with 2-6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in intellectual property law with a focus on patent oppositions. The candidate must be detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct patent searches and analysis to identify prior art and potential patentability issues.

- Draft and file patent oppositions in accordance with Indian patent laws and procedures.

- Manage timelines and deadlines for opposition proceedings, including preparing and filing responses to office actions and attending hearings.

- Collaborate with internal teams to identify patents that may be of interest to the company and advise on potential opposition strategies.

- Provide legal advice and guidance on patent opposition matters to internal stakeholders.

- To assist in patent opposition, Litigation and other patent contentious proceedings.

- Preferable experience in handling technical analysis of standard essentials patents.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in law and B.tech and B.sci.

- 2-6 years of experience in patent oppositions in India.

- Strong knowledge of Indian patent laws and procedures.

- Experience conducting patent searches and analysis.

- Excellent drafting and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
