Analyst/Associate - Research& Advisory - Global Investment Management Firm (2-8 yrs)

Our client is a global investment management firm built at the intersection of financial theory and practical application. They take a systematic, research-driven approach, applying quantitative tools to process fundamental information and manage risk. Its clients include institutional investors, such as pension funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations and sovereign wealth funds, as well as financial advisors. They also serves the private-wealth community and Registered Investment Advisors.

We are looking to hire full-time Analysts/Associate to join our client's Business Development group. The group works with the firm's clients in North America, Europe, Australia and the Middle East to provide solutions to achieve their investment objectives.

Role

Specific responsibilities vary from team to team within Business Development, but generally include some or all of the following:

- Provide support to senior members of Business Development whose objective is to build and deepen relationships with investors.

- Develop strong product and asset class knowledge of the Firm and demonstrate interest in the industry.

- Liaise with members of Business Development and Product Specialist teams to customize marketing materials and review materials for client and prospect interactions.

- Coordinate the distribution of proprietary white papers, event invites, webinars, etc.

- Complete assigned sections of Requests for Proposal/Information and Due Diligence Questionnaires and review in entirety before submission

- Be responsible for marshaling the full resources of the firm to coordinate responses to all investor inquiries

- Coordinate client meetings and conference calls with investors

Ideal Candidates:

- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Knowledge of finance and the investment management industry is highly desirable.

Prior Experience in preparing client focused reports and analysis - Pitch Book, Portfolio Analysis, Term Sheets would have an advantage.

Experience range

Analyst - 2 - 4 Years of Relevant Experience.

Associate - 4 - 7 Years Relevant Experience.
