Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share in alignment with business objectives.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, ensuring they are motivated, engaged, and performing at their best.
- Target Achievement: Set clear sales targets and objectives for the team, monitor progress, and take corrective action to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and markets, drive lead generation efforts, and work to increase customer acquisition.
- Sales Training & Development: Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and provide insights to senior management regarding sales trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and other teams to ensure alignment between sales activities and overall company goals.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead sales negotiations and work to close deals, ensuring profitability and long-term customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Sales Expertise: Strong understanding of sales processes, including lead generation, sales cycle management, and closing strategies.
- Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage sales teams effectively, with experience in setting performance goals and driving results.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the industry or product/service offerings you will be selling is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
- Problem-Solving & Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to close deals and handle complex sales situations.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
- CRM & Tools: Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools for tracking and managing sales processes
