Job Title: Assistant Professor in Applied Science (Organic Chemistry)

Department: Chemical Sciences Department

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Chemistry (any discipline of chemistry) with 55%

marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is

followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an

accredited foreign university.

• Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry

Responsibilities:

• Conduct innovative research in the field of organic chemistry.

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in organic chemistry.

• Supervise and mentor students in research projects.

• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects.

• Engage in scholarly activities, including publications and conference

presentations.

• Contribute to the development of the department through committee

participation.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise in theoretical and experimental aspects of organic

chemistry

• Strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse academic community.

• Research publications in reputable journals.
