Oracle EBS Administrator - Support & Implementation (5-8 yrs)

Job Title : Oracle EBS Administrator.

Job Location : Pan India.

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Administrator with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience to manage and optimize Oracle EBS applications and databases.

The ideal candidate will ensure system availability, security, and performance while supporting the organization's development and operational needs.

Oracle EBS Administration :

- Monitor and maintain Oracle EBS applications and databases in production environments.

- Conduct proactive health checks and perform day-to-day maintenance of application and database servers.

- Monitor application nodes, services, and concurrent manager statuses; troubleshoot failures and long-running jobs.

- Apply critical patch updates and patches across UAT, DEV, and PROD instances.

- Clone Oracle Applications from PROD to UAT and DEV environments using Rapid Clone.

- Manage code migrations between environments (UAT/DEV to PROD).

- Prepare RMAN backup scripts, perform recoveries, and monitor daily backup processes.

- Import/export database dump files and create on-demand tables, users, and roles.

- Upgrade Oracle EBS databases and troubleshoot middleware and connectivity issues.

- Provide support to development teams, including creating and monitoring scheduled jobs and alerts in SQL Server.

- Implement database and application security hardening measures.

- Monitor disaster recovery (DR) sites and conduct quarterly failover testing.

Cloud and Infrastructure Support :

- Schedule automatic backups for critical components, including boot volumes, databases, and applications.

- Create and manage volume groups for cloning and data replication.

- Set up and manage Site-to-Site VPNs, load balancers, and virtual machines (VMs).

- Implement and enforce security best practices in the existing network setup.

- Clone volume groups and manage compute instances for seamless deployment.

Desired Skills and Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in Oracle EBS and Database Administration.

- Strong knowledge of RMAN backups, database recovery, and high-availability setups.

- Hands-on experience in middleware troubleshooting and implementing security hardening practices.

- Proficiency in managing disaster recovery setups, including failover testing.

- Experience in managing Site-to-Site VPNs, load balancers, and volume group setups.

- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and provide timely resolutions.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience in working across teams.
