About the Role :

- We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automation Tester to join our dynamic team.

- In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

- You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test suites, including both manual and automated tests.

- Your expertise in Selenium and a strong understanding of software testing methodologies will be instrumental in delivering high-quality software products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.

- Execute manual and automated tests across various applications and platforms (web, mobile, API).

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and log them in the bug tracking system.

- Track and monitor defects through the resolution process.

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and other relevant tools.

- Write high-quality, maintainable, and reusable automation scripts.

- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. Analyze and optimize test scripts for performance and efficiency.

- Generate comprehensive test reports, including test coverage, defect statistics, and other relevant metrics.

- Analyze test results to identify trends and areas for improvement.

- Communicate test results effectively to stakeholders.

- Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth collaboration and effective communication.

- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and other team meetings.

- Actively contribute to improving testing processes and methodologies.

- Stay updated on the latest testing tools, technologies, and best practices. Continuously learn and improve testing skills.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience :

- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in Automation testing and manual testing.

Technical Skills :

- Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver and other automation frameworks.

- Experience in scripting languages like Java, Python, or C#.

- Experience with testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).

- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, etc.).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).

- Knowledge of SQL and databases.

- Experience with performance and security testing is a plus.
