Assistant Manager (CA) - Accounts & Finance

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with 3-6 years of experience to manage various financial functions at our Iron Ore mining site in Niwari, Madhya Pradesh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overall financial accounting, project costing, budgeting, forecasting and MIS preparation with the ability to drive efficiency and maintain high standards of financial integrity.

Role & responsibilities

• Project Costing: Oversee the costing and financial analysis of ongoing and upcoming projects to ensure budget adherence and cost optimization.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and financial plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• MIS Reporting : Provide timely and accurate Management Information System (MIS) reports, including performance analysis, variances, and actionable insights for management.
• Fund Flow Planning & Management: Develop and manage fund flow strategies to ensure optimal liquidity and efficient allocation of resources.
• Banking & Treasury: Manage banking relationships, oversee daily banking activities, and ensure effective treasury operations.
• Monthly Closing: Supervise the monthly closing process, ensuring all financial entries are recorded accurately and timely.
• Vendor Management: Oversee the financial aspects of vendor management, including payment schedules, vendor reconciliations, and contracts.
• Financial Accounting: Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements in financial reporting and accounting practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3-6 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, project costing, budgeting, and MIS reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
