Job Description
- ORTIS labs is looking for EXPORT COORDINATOR to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey Documentation: Export Coordinators are responsible for preparing, reviewing, and ensuring the accuracy of all export-related documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and export licenses
- These documents are essential for customs clearance and compliance with international trade regulations
- Customs Compliance: They work to ensure that all export activities comply with customs regulations, trade laws, and international trade agreements
- This involves staying up-to-date with changes in trade regulations and ensuring that all documentation and procedures meet legal requirements
- Logistics: Export Coordinators manage the logistical aspects of exporting goods, including coordinating transportation, selecting carriers, and arranging for the packaging and labeling of products
- They work with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and other service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective shipments
- Shipment Tracking: They monitor the progress of shipments, tracking their movement from the point of origin to the final destination
- This involves keeping stakeholders informed about shipment status and any delays or issues that may arise
- Customs Clearance: Export Coordinators work with customs brokers to facilitate customs clearance procedures
- They ensure that the necessary documents and information are provided to customs authorities to avoid delays or complications
- Communication: Effective communication is essential in this role
- Export Coordinators communicate with various internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, shipping agents, customs officials, and transportation providers
- Quality Control: They review all export-related documentation and shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Errors or discrepancies can lead to delays, fines, or other complications, so attention to detail is crucial
- Problem Resolution: In the event of discrepancies, errors, or issues with shipments or documentation, Export Coordinators work to resolve problems efficiently and ensure that the export process proceeds smoothly
- Customer Service: They provide support and information to international customers and distributors, addressing inquiries and helping to ensure customer satisfaction
- Record Keeping: Export Coordinators maintain organized records of all export-related activities, which can be valuable for reference, audits, and future shipments
