Job Description

On behalf of our client, a leading joint venture in e-waste management and precious metal recovery, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to join their team in Hyderabad. Our client is at the forefront of sustainable waste management solutions, specializing in advanced e-waste recycling and precious metal recovery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing market strategies, and leading the sales team to success in this rapidly growing sector.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Performance and Revenue Growth

- Meet or exceed predefined sales targets, focusing on high-priority accounts and accelerating deal closures

- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, generating new leads and converting prospects to customers

- Identify and capitalize on upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the existing customer base

Market Penetration and Strategy Development

- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify new opportunities and areas for improvement

- Develop tailored sales strategies for key sectors and verticals, aligning with company goals

- Identify and target high-value clients that align with our client's product offerings and long-term vision

Team Leadership and Development

- Foster strong relationships within the sales team and ensure effective cross-departmental collaboration

- Set clear performance goals for junior sales professionals and provide regular feedback and guidance

- Develop and implement training plans to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer handling skills

Customer Engagement and Relationship Building

- Strengthen relationships with key existing clients to secure repeat business and improve retention rates

- Implement personalized outreach strategies for potential clients, establishing trust through proactive communication

- Set up a system for ongoing customer feedback to address concerns and improve offerings

Reporting and Accountability

- Provide regular sales performance updates, detailing progress against targets and solutions implemented

- Utilize data-driven insights to assess individual and team performance for continuous optimization

- Maintain open communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment on progress and objectives

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred

- 8+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the waste management or recycling industry

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth

- Strong understanding of e-waste management, circular economy concepts, and sustainability practices

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools
