Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer with at least 6 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data modeling, database management, and software development tailored to our key industry verticals. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our applications and ensuring they meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

- Analyze business requirements and create effective data models to support application development.

- Manage and optimize Oracle databases, including performance tuning and maintenance.

- Develop and maintain Oracle Reports to meet business reporting needs.

- Implement and manage ETL processes to ensure seamless data integration across systems.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective software solutions.

- Engage with customers to understand their needs, provide updates, and gather feedback.

- Analyze issues and implement solutions, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Maintain thorough documentation of application development processes and changes.

- Take initiative to explore applications independently, using training provided to enhance skills and knowledge.

Skills :

- Strong knowledge of RDBMS concepts, including database design, normalization, and query optimization.

- Proficiency in Oracle APEX development, including declarative and programmatic components.

- Expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation and retrieval.

- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for building web interfaces.

- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Oracle APEX applications.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.

- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with version control systems like Git and continuous integration tools like Jenkins.

- Knowledge of Oracle Forms and its migration to Oracle APEX.

- Experience with RESTful web services and API integration.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
