Cloud Architect - AWS Services (4-8 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect (AWS) to design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

You will be responsible for the entire cloud adoption lifecycle, from designing and deploying secure and scalable cloud architectures to migrating on-premises systems and applications to AWS.

You will also be responsible for optimizing and monitoring our cloud environment to ensure high performance and cost-effectiveness.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures on AWS.

- Develop architectural blueprints and documentation for cloud solutions.

- Lead the migration of on-premises systems and applications to AWS, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime during migrations.

- Configure and optimize AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, etc. to meet business requirements.

- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.

- Ensure cloud solutions comply with industry security standards and best practices, including implementing robust identity and access management using AWS IAM.

- Monitor and optimize system performance using AWS tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Cost Explorer to identify and address potential issues and optimize costs.

- Implement auto-scaling and load balancing solutions to ensure high availability and scalability of cloud applications.

- Work closely with development, DevOps, and business teams to understand their needs and align AWS solutions with business objectives.

Qualifications :

- Proven experience in designing and deploying cloud solutions on AWS.

- Hands-on experience with core AWS services such as VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.

- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices.

- Expertise in networking, security, and identity management concepts on AWS.

- A strong understanding of scripting languages like Python or Shell for automation.

- AWS Certifications (i.e., Solutions Architect Associate/Professional, DevOps Engineer) are a plus
