Software Engineer - Java/.Net (5-10 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team in developing and maintaining our core Policy Administration System. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge solution that is transforming the insurance industry.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement software components for the Jarus Policy Administration System.

- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (product managers, business analysts, QA) to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Leverage your expertise in either Java/Spring or .NET/Angular to create robust and maintainable code.

- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

- Contribute to the continuous improvement and optimization of the system.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices in your chosen development stack.

Technical Skills :

- Java/Spring or .NET/Angular: Strong proficiency in your preferred development stack.

- Web Application Development: Experience in building web applications using relevant frameworks and libraries.

- Databases: Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and data access mechanisms (e.g., Entity Framework, Spring Data).

- API Development: Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs.

- Version Control: Familiarity with Git for version control. DevOps: Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure) and deployment methodologies is a plus.

Additional Skills :

- 5+ years of experience in software development. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (B.E. / B. Tech., M.E. / M. Tech., M.C.A., M.S.).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
