Senior DevOps Engineer - Google Cloud Platform (8-10 yrs)

Job Description :

- Contribute to the development and release of web applications and data pipelines

- Support IT functions hosting services on GCP, continuous integration, test automation.

- Help our team support build and own the implementation and IaC supporting CI/CD

- Use modern infrastructure tools and platforms to automate our systems

- Responsible for management and annual testing of our Disaster Recovery environments

Job Qualifications :

- 7+ years professional work experience

- Experience with Cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Dev

- Ops life cycle such as Linux System Administration, Build and Release

- Management, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Configuration

- Management, and Containerization

- Worked on GCP network monitoring functions to centralize monitoring and verified network configurations, optimize network performance and increase network security

- Experience in building batch and streaming data pipelines from multiple sources into Google's Big Query. Pipelines are built using Python and Airflow

- Strong knowledge of Ansible, Terraform & IaC scripting

- Continuous integration (Semaphore, Jenkins), Test Automation

- Strong programming and scripting fundamentals (Bash, PowerShell, Visual script)

- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) to define groups, create users, and assign roles

- Proficient with the principles and best practices of software development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements analysis, design specifications, coding, and testing of applications with industry standard methodologies such as Scrum and Agile

- Excellent communication skills

- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical capabilities

- A desire to write tools and applications to automate work rather than do everything by hand

- Passionate about Continuous Build, Integration, Test, and Delivery systems

- Familiarity with the following is a strong plus:

Tools : JIRA, Confluence, Github. TFS

DB : Postgres, MySQL
