OLX India is a leading classifieds platform, boasting over 100+ million app downloads across diverse categories, including cars, bikes, real estate, and electronics.

Consumers and dealers come to OLX India, Indias largest online classifieds platform, to buy and sell used and new products. OLX India operates in over 10 categories across India. These main categories include Auto, Real estate, Mobiles/Electronics, Furniture, etc. Sellers can list multiple products and upload their advertisements, including pictures, titles, descriptions, and expected sales prices. Buyers can browse through the listings, contact sellers directly, negotiate, and then purchase items from the seller. Characteristics such as a strong brand, cutting-edge technology and huge organic traffic make OLX India the go-to classified platform for dealers and consumers. The platform connects millions of buyers and sellers, thus enabling safe and easy trade.

What You will be doing :

• Take the ownership of android app quality, user experience, and security Design, build, and test product features and components, while working with our Product and UX teams to ensure that the product we build is delightful to use.
• You are expected to help maintain and improve our automated test suite and CI pipeline.
• You will participate in code reviews and design reviews for building a robust and scalable product that does not require rework.

Who we are looking for :

• A habitual Problem solver with strong understanding of computer science fundamentals,

including quickly getting up to speed with new technologies.

• 4 plus years of experience in android
• Be able to address issues fast and authoritatively.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android along with Familiarity with

RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.

• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, Material design guidelines, patterns, and

best practices.

• Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of the open-source Android components and the libraries available for common

tasks.

• Highly proficient in object oriented methodologies, design patterns, data structures,

algorithms and quality coding skills, excellent debugging skills.
