TechOps is our first line of technical support available both in the office and to remote workers 24/7/365. Our site leads are key to maintaining a good relationship between Ocrolus employees and stakeholders and ensuring uptime and continuous availability of services. TechOps Leads are also responsible for managing projects and delivering results under tight constraints. We expect our TechOps Leads to have a great understanding of IT infrastructure and technology and be able to across work with different business functions.
Responsibilities:
Managing and leading TechOps Engineers.
Managing a wide variety of TechOps systems and infrastructure including PXE servers, proxies, disk image deployment, CCTV systems, and physical access control.
Hands-on triage and technical support for Windows, Linux, and macOS devices.
Implementing, managing, and supporting network infrastructure including routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
Creating and managing firewall rules, policies, and exceptions.
Supporting TechOps software solutions like VPN, MDM, and Antivirus.
Good understanding of hardware and software debugging.
Asset and inventory management.
Help with internal IT audits.
Provide technical expertise, mentoring, and overseeing assigned work for TechOps team members.
Use team resources to accomplish higher-level objectives assigned by TechOps management.
Requirements:
Must have Skills: Linux administration, network administration, end-user customer support, people Management.
Good to have skills: Project management, documentation, policy writing, asset management, scripting, or engineering experience.
Personality Traits: Self-starter, team player, confident, customer-focused. Curious, knowledgeable, adaptable, willing to learn, and a lead from the front leadership style.
