Senior Data Analyst

Role Overview:

The Senior Data Analyst plays a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights that support Talent Management and Capability Building. This role is essential for leveraging data analytics to drive business decisions and improve efficiency while adapting to the unique challenges of working remotely.

Role & Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Cleaning: Collect and clean data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness, particularly in offshore settings where data accessibility might vary.

Dashboard Development: Build and maintain dynamic Power BI dashboards and complex data visualizations that provide key insights to stakeholders.

Exploratory Data Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that drive informed decision-making.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams to gather data requirements and support decision-making processes.

Automation of Data Processes: Automate data collection and reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency, ensuring seamless operation across offshore and onshore teams.

Data Models and Statistical Analysis: Develop and maintain data models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to provide deeper insights and support predictive analytics.

Data Integration: Understand and manage data integration with data lakes, systems, or databases, ensuring accessibility and smooth data flow in offshore environments.

Education:

Bachelors degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (essential).

Experience:

A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in data analysis, including the creation of interactive dashboards and data visualizations, particularly using Power BI.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Expertise in data analysis tools, particularly Power BI, for dashboard creation and data visualization.

Strong understanding of data modelling, statistical analysis, and algorithm development.

Proficiency in automating data processes using tools like SQL, Python, or similar.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data trends and patterns.

Ability to work independently and manage tasks in an offshore environment, ensuring flexibility and adaptability across time zones.

Effective communication skills for collaborating with offshore and onshore teams and presenting data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with data integration from multiple sources, including data lakes and databases, ensuring smooth access and usage in remote contexts.
