The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in auditing or accounting, preferably in a CA or audit firm, and a strong command of financial tools like Tally Prime and Excel. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify discrepancies, improve financial processes, and contribute to the overall growth of our organization.

In 2023, NVS has scaled to a fleet size of 900+ vehicles and an accounting team size of 5 people that you would be part of. Job Responsibilities:
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):
Internal Audit Management:
Conduct internal audits to verify the accuracy of financial and operational processes.
Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting discrepancies, risks, and recommendations.
Compliance Monitoring:
Ensure all processes comply with applicable legal and regulatory standards, including taxation laws.
Assist in maintaining a zero-noncompliance status during audits.
Process Improvement:
Evaluate existing financial and operational processes, proposing enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement recommended changes.
Financial Accuracy:
Verify daily financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts and financial statements.
External Audit Coordination:
Act as the primary point of contact during external audits.
Provide necessary documentation, explanations, and support to external auditors.
Risk Identification and Mitigation:
Identify financial and operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Report Generation:
Create comprehensive audit reports for management with actionable insights and recommendations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Audit Accuracy: 100% accuracy in findings and financial reports.
Compliance Rate: Zero non-compliance issues during internal and external audits.
Timely Reporting: Submit audit findings within the specified deadlines.
Process Improvement Implementation: Successful implementation of at least 80% of proposed improvements.
Budget Adherence: Ensure less than 1% deviation from the annual budget without valid reasons, maintaining strict financial discipline and accurate forecasting.
Job Role:
Financial Audit and Compliance:
Conduct regular internal audits of financial processes to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.
Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and actionable recommendations.
Ensure timely compliance with tax laws and regulatory requirements.
Surprise Checks and External Audits:
Conduct surprise audits in collaboration with the Maintenance and Operations teams to ensure adherence to company protocols.
Audit diesel-filling processes to identify and mitigate misuse or discrepancies.
Investigate instances of misusing company assets, recommending corrective measures where needed.
Budget Oversight:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor spending to ensure adherence to budgets, maintaining less than 1% deviation without valid reasons.
Financial Record Management:
Maintain detailed and accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are recorded in a timely and organized manner.
Reconcile accounts regularly, including ledgers and bank statements.
Support for External Audits:
Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
Address audit findings promptly and effectively.
Process Optimization:
Evaluate existing financial processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce errors.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
Liaise with vendors and clients to resolve billing, payment, or other financial discrepancies.
Software Utilization:
Use tools like Tally Prime and Excel for financial tracking and reporting.

Compliance with all audit and tax regulations.
Minimal budget deviations and clear explanations for any variances.

5+ Relevant experience must in CA firm or Audit firm experience
