Data Engineer - ETL Tools (3-6 yrs)

Job Description :

- 3 - 6 years of work experience in consulting/analytics with reputed organization is desirable.

- Prior experience with building end-to-end solutions and ability to implement data engineering flows, OLAP Warehouse etc. are plus.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R

- Strong experience with ETL tools and processes.

- In-depth knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).

- Working knowledge in DevOps Infra-as-code set up, DevSecOps, Branching strategy along with maintaining CI/CD pipeline.

- Working experience in complex dashboards using Power Query, Power BI Desktop, Power Apps, Tableau etc. is a plus.

- Strong work experience on cloud platforms like Azure/AWS/GCP is desired.

- Ability to work with large data sets and present conclusions to key stakeholders; Data management using Python/Spark

- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming

Data Architecture :

- Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient data architectures to support the organization's business needs.

- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure the data architecture meets those needs.

ETL Processes :

- Develop and maintain robust ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data from diverse sources into the data warehouse. Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

- Optimize and automate ETL workflows to improve efficiency and reduce processing times.

Data Modeling :

- Create and maintain data models that reflect the structure and relationships within the data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.

- Work with database administrators to implement and manage database schemas.

Database Management :

- Administer and maintain databases, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.

Collaboration and Documentation :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

- Work closely with IT and software development teams to integrate data engineering solutions into existing systems.

- Document data engineering processes, workflows, and configurations to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.

- Experience in building interactive BI dashboards on Power BI/Tableau etc. is a plus
