Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Mobile Testing (9-11 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for mobile applications (iOS and Android).

- Identify and prioritize testing scenarios to ensure maximum test coverage.

- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and define test cases.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on mobile devices.

- Utilize both manual and automated testing techniques to ensure thorough testing.

- Identify and report software defects and track them to resolution.

- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to the development team.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Appium, Espresso, or XCTest.

- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing.

- Optimize test automation frameworks for efficiency and reliability.

- Conduct performance testing to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Analyze performance metrics and recommend optimizations.

- Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on testing methodologies and best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.

- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 9-11 years of experience in mobile testing (iOS and Android).

- Strong understanding of mobile testing methodologies and best practices.

- Experience with test automation frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCTest).

- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Ruby, JavaScript).

- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).

- Strong knowledge of mobile device emulators and simulators.

- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, Bugzilla).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
