Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Leadership:
    • Oversee daily operations across the companys divisions, including project management, construction, property development, and facilities management.
    • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals and objectives.
    • Drive process improvements, cost-efficiency, and operational excellence across all business units.
  2. Strategic Planning & Execution:
    • Collaborate with the CEO and other senior leaders to define and execute the company’s vision, mission, and strategic direction.
    • Develop and implement business strategies that will position the company as a leader in the civil real estate market.
    • Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and growth areas to expand the company’s reach and capabilities.
  3. Project Management Oversight:
    • Provide leadership and oversight to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
    • Ensure effective resource allocation, risk management, and resolution of any project-related issues or delays.
    • Monitor the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and client expectations.
  4. Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and performance across all departments.
    • Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and professional growth within the organization.
    • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and cooperation.
  5. Financial Oversight:
    • Manage the company’s operational budget, ensuring resource allocation is optimized to meet business objectives.
    • Oversee the financial performance of the company’s projects and operations, identifying areas for cost reduction and improved profitability.
    • Work closely with the finance team to prepare financial reports, analyze performance, and support the CEO in financial decision-making.
  6. Regulatory and Compliance:
    • Ensure the company complies with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices.
    • Oversee risk management activities, including insurance, safety, and legal compliance for all company operations and projects.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
  7. Client & Stakeholder Relations:
    • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients, partners, contractors, and other stakeholders in the real estate and construction sectors.
    • Represent the company in meetings with high-level clients, investors, and potential business partners.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by overseeing the successful delivery of projects and services.
  8. Innovation & Technology Integration:
    • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in civil engineering, real estate development, and construction.
    • Advocate for and lead the adoption of innovative tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve operational efficiency and project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in a civil real estate or construction company.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications in project management (PMP) or construction management (e.g., CCM) are a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Proven experience managing large-scale civil real estate projects, from inception to completion.
    • Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
    • In-depth understanding of the civil construction, real estate development, and property management sectors.
    • Exceptional financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasts, and operational financials.
    • Expertise in strategic planning, project management, and risk management.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to interact with executives, clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
