Assist in the preparation and coordination of project timelines, schedules, and milestones.
Support the Planning Manager and Development team in organizing and tracking project documentation, including planning applications, permits, and approvals.
Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth communication and project progress.
Planning Applications and Approvals:
Assist with the preparation and submission of planning applications, ensuring all required documents are complete and accurate.
Monitor the status of planning applications and liaise with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and zoning boards.
Help prepare responses to planning inquiries and comments from relevant stakeholders.
Research and Data Collection:
Conduct research on zoning laws, land use regulations, and other planning-related matters relevant to current and future projects.
Gather and analyze data to support project feasibility studies, site assessments, and planning reports.
Maintain and update project files, keeping all relevant information organized and accessible.
Document Management:
Maintain accurate records of all planning-related documents, including applications, permits, correspondence, and reports.
Ensure compliance with internal document control procedures and standards.
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for meetings with stakeholders, clients, and senior management.
Site Visits and Inspections:
Assist with site visits and inspections to collect information, assess progress, or identify potential planning concerns.
Document findings and provide recommendations or action points based on site conditions.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Assist in communicating with local authorities, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate the smooth progression of projects.
Help prepare materials for stakeholder meetings, public consultations, and community engagement initiatives.
General Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support to the planning team, including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and managing correspondence.
Assist with organizing and maintaining planning department files, both physical and digital.
Compliance and Regulations:
Assist in ensuring that all planning activities comply with relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
Keep abreast of any changes in planning laws or regulations that may impact current or future projects.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience: Previous experience in a planning, real estate, or construction-related role is desirable but not required. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and planning software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, or similar tools) is a plus.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Basic understanding of urban planning, zoning laws, and land use regulations is an advantage.
