Role : HCI & VDI Practice Lead
Requirement :
What we are looking for :
- A person who has core virtualization expertise either on VMware or Nutanix and who is willing to expand his skills and take up challenging projects primarily on the HCI & VDI Products and Solutions from VMware and Nutanix.
- He needs to be focused on delivering exceptional Customer Experience and ensure Customers make optimum utilization of the Products and Solutions deployed
- Persons with mid to Large deployments, Configurations, Management or Migrations of ESXi, vCenter, AHV, Horizon VDI, Automation would be preferred.
Certifications :
- Certifications on either of the following is recommended and has an added weightage
- Latest VCP Certifications from VMWare- Preferred are VCP-DCV 6.5 and above OR VCP-Desktop and Mobility-2020 and above
- Latest NCP Certifications from Nutanix- Preferred NCP-MCI 5.15 or higher
Experience : 5 to 10 Year's

Responsibilities : Your day-to-day activities and responsibilities are defined as below
What you would do :
Assessment : 15 % of the time
- Deploy Tools and run them to analyze the current IT Setup at the customer location
- Generate Reports and interpret Results and provide inputs to the Business Manager for generation of Bill of Material
- Participate in Discussions with the customer jointly with the Business team and provide necessary clarifications
Design : 15 % of the time
- Assist in preparation of the Bill of Material
- Provide Inputs on the Hardware configurations to address and meet customer requirements
- Provide High Level and Low-Level Design of the products that would be deployed in the customer environment
- Participate in understanding the Deployment Scope and sizing carried out for the Products
- Be Responsible to ensure that the products are deployed as per recommendations and best practices of the OEM
- Deploy the solution in the customer environment
- Configure the Solution as per the Design document
- Carryout Fine tuning and optimization of the deployed Solution
- Train the Customer Administrators on the management of the deployed solution
- Carryout validations to ensure that the deployment is as per recommendations and best practices of the OEM
- Prepare Configuration Document for the solution deployed
- Carryout regular health checks of the deployed product
- Carryout upgrades of the deployed product and solutions
- Provide support to the customer regarding Open tickets and issues raised to ensure that the product and solutions are working optimally
- Undertake regular trainings and certifications as demanded by the organization and nominated for
- Carryout trainings and skill enablement for people reporting into you
- Meet the OEM Engagement objectives and certification requirements
- Obtain skills on technology product areas as identified above
