Associate Vice President/Vice President - Product
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the company's digital payment and mobile banking services.
- Drive innovation in payment technologies to ensure a competitive edge in the market.
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycles for UPI, IMPS, and mobile banking solutions.
- Ensure projects / tasks are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, ensuring cross-functional synergy.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders within the organization and NPCI.
- Monitor the performance of technology platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Establish ongoing engagement model with key stakeholders and develop a cadence to report on overall progress.
- Align performance and quality metrics for the delivery of services relating to product stability and customer / internal satisfaction.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with digital payment and banking operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Represent the company in industry forums and discussions to promote its vision and offerings.
- Evaluate market trends and customer needs to develop forward-looking technology strategies.
- Align technological capabilities with long-term business goals.
What Are We Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
- Technical Expertise In-depth knowledge of Digital banking, UPI, IMPS and NPCI Products stack.
- 15+ years of experience in the fintech, banking, or technology services industry.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role, overseeing digital payment solutions and team management.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in digital payment systems.
- Proven track record in Product /project management, including certification (e., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities, with experience managing diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
- Entrepreneurial skills, ability to observe, innovate, and own your work.
- Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills.
- Influencing skills and the ability to create positive working relationships with team members at all levels.
- Collaborative approach and work with perfection as a group effort to achieve organizational goals
