Job Title: AutoCAD Plant 3D Technical Specialist

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Plant 3D Technical Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in implementing AutoCAD Plant 3D software solutions for clients, managing project specifications, and generating PID reports. Additionally, the candidate will oversee the administration, configuration, and optimization of the software to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement AutoCAD Plant 3D solutions for clients, ensuring a smooth transition and configuration tailored to their specific needs.
• Create, manage, and maintain piping specifications, equipment specifications, and standards within the AutoCAD Plant 3D environment.
• Generate and configure P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) reports as per customer requirements.
• Provide support in project setup and management, ensuring the alignment of software functionalities with project goals.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to configure and customize AutoCAD Plant 3D for system integrations.
• Provide training to clients on AutoCAD Plant 3D functionalities, specifications management, and administration.
• Perform troubleshooting, system diagnostics, and provide solutions for any software-related issues.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure specifications, reports, and software configurations are aligned with project timelines and budgets.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of company standards, templates, and libraries within AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Manage user access and permissions, monitor software usage, and ensure system security and data integrity.
• Conduct regular updates, patches, and version management for AutoCAD Plant 3D installations.
• Ensure the integration of AutoCAD Plant 3D with other design and engineering tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D software, including configuration, implementation, and specification management.
• Proficient in creating and managing piping and equipment specifications within AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Solid understanding of P&ID reporting, creation, and management.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D administration, including user management, standards configuration, and system performance optimization.
• Experience in client-facing roles, providing both technical support and training on AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot software issues and implement solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with integration of AutoCAD Plant 3D with other design and engineering software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in AutoCAD Plant 3D or similar CAD tools.
• Experience with customization and scripting in AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Previous experience with large-scale plant design projects.
• Knowledge of industry standards and codes related to plant design (e.g., ASME, ANSI, ISO).
