Job Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Head to lead the strategic direction, growth, and operations of the business.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the performance of all departments, ensuring alignment with the company's goals, and driving profitability and operational excellence.
- As the Business Head, you will work closely with senior leadership and teams to define business objectives, implement effective strategies, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve success in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the company's overall business strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term organizational goals.
- Lead business planning and decision-making processes, collaborating with the executive team to set priorities and resource allocation.
- Identify new business opportunities and avenues for expansion, including market penetration, partnerships, and diversification.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the market.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of products/services across departments.
- Work closely with functional leaders in sales, marketing, finance, HR, and product development to drive performance and address challenges.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics to monitor the success of initiatives and track progress toward goals.
- Ensure the optimization of resources and operational processes to maintain profitability and scalability.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and inspire senior leadership and cross-functional teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Mentor and guide direct reports to achieve personal and professional growth and ensure alignment with company values.
- Oversee talent development, succession planning, and employee retention strategies to build a strong leadership pipeline.
Financial Management & Growth:
- Take ownership of the company's financial performance, including setting budgets, forecasts, and ensuring profitability targets are met.
- Develop financial strategies to optimize revenue streams, control costs, and improve margins.
- Conduct regular financial analysis and reports, identifying areas for cost savings, investment opportunities, and revenue growth.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, investors, and partners to ensure financial and business stability.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and other external stakeholders.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and with media, ensuring a positive brand presence and reputation.
- Oversee customer feedback loops, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Experience:
- At least 8-9 years of senior leadership experience in business management or a similar role, with a proven track record of successfully scaling businesses and driving profitability.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large, cross-functional teams and influencing strategic business decisions at an executive level.
- Strong background in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
