Neeyamo - .Net Developer - ASP/C#/MVC (3-5 yrs)

Role Description :

As a .NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web and desktop applications using the .NET framework. You will work on both front-end and back-end development, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate should be proficient in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and related technologies, with a strong focus on best practices in development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain web-based and desktop-based applications using the .NET framework (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core).

- Build and implement RESTful APIs and web services.

- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, following best practices and design patterns.

- Design and manage SQL Server databases, writing efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.

- Optimize database queries and ensure smooth data integration with applications.

- Collaborate with front-end developers to create user-friendly interfaces.

- Develop dynamic and responsive front-end pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.

- Write and execute unit tests to ensure software functionality and performance.

- Perform debugging and troubleshooting to resolve application issues and improve performance.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to meet project requirements and deadlines.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and guidelines.

- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing applications, addressing bugs and enhancement requests.

- Ensure the deployment process is smooth and the applications are updated as needed.

- Document the development process, codebase, and any issues faced during the application development lifecycle.

- Maintain user manuals, technical documentation, and release notes for future reference.

- Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and frameworks related to .NET development to stay current with industry trends.

- Suggest improvements to existing systems based on the latest technologies.

Qualifications & Skills :

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

- 3-5 years of experience as a .NET Developer or in a similar software development role.

- Experience in building web applications using ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, and MVC.

- Hands-on experience with SQL Server and database management.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like Angular or React is a plus.

Technical Skills :

- Proficient in C# and the .NET framework (ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core).

- Strong experience in writing SQL queries and working with SQL Server.

- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

- Experience in working with RESTful services and Web APIs.

- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as NUnit or xUnit.

- Knowledge of Entity Framework and LINQ for database interaction
