Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure Java-based applications and systems using modern frameworks and technologies.

- Define and implement architectural patterns and best practices for scalable and maintainable application development.

- Leverage advanced knowledge of Java internals, including JVM tuning, garbage collection, and threading, to optimize performance.

- Apply best practices in software engineering to design, structure, and refactor code for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering technical growth and innovation.

- Review code and design documents to ensure compliance with architectural standards and business requirements.

- Oversee the integration of Java applications with external systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and communication between components.

- Optimize system performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing performance-enhancing solutions.

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to track system health and ensure high availability.

- Develop and maintain secure application development practices, ensuring adherence to industry standards.

- Communicate architectural decisions, trade-offs, and implementation plans clearly to technical and non technical stakeholders.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum of 12+ years of hands-on experience in Java development and system design.

- Proven experience as a Java Architect or similar role in designing and implementing large-scale, distributed systems.

- Expertise in Java and related frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, and Hibernate.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native applications.

- In-depth knowledge of API design, RESTful web services, and integration patterns.

- Hands-on experience with databases, including SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.

- Proficiency in containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar tools.

- Familiarity with caching solutions such as Redis or Memcached.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for automated deployment and delivery.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Knowledge of observability tools like Splunk, ELK Stack, or Prometheus for system monitoring.

- Familiarity with Big Data tools like Hadoop, Spark, or Flink.

- Proficiency in security protocols and best practices, including OAuth2, JWT, and role-based access control.

- Hands-on experience with GraphQL or gRPC for API development.
