Staff Software Engineer - Python (9-12 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement backend and frontend components for our payment processing platform using Python and Django.

- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to deployment and maintenance.

- Maintain a consistent release cadence and actively manage the product backlog to prioritize features and improvements.

- Foster clear and timely communication across development, operations, and other teams to ensure project alignment.

- Champion engineering best practices and advocate for code quality, maintainability, and scalability.

- Collaborate effectively with international teams to deliver successful payment processing solutions.

Technical Skills (Must-Have) :

- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend development (Python, Django).

- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices (clean code, design patterns).

- Experience with building and deploying applications on cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

- Proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Technical Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience with message queuing systems like Kafka (a plus).

- Familiarity with container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Experience with distributed task queues (Celery, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
