Chief Technical Officer - Digital Payment Industry (15-18 yrs)

We are looking for CTO for one of our client based in Mumbai. They are into digital Payment.

Job Profile:

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and objectives.

- Identify emerging technology trends and ensure the company's platform remains cutting-edge.

- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence within the technology team.

Technical Oversight:

- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's payment processing technology platform.

- Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of the platform to handle high volumes of transactions.

- Oversee the architecture, engineering, and deployment of all technology solutions.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Team Management:

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing technology team, including software developers, engineers, and IT specialists.

- Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development within the technology department.

- Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with the CEO and other senior executives to support the company's vision and strategic initiatives.

- Collaborate with the product, marketing, and operations teams to drive product innovation and market competitiveness.

- Act as the primary technical liaison with external stakeholders, including partners, vendors, and customers.

Innovation and Research:

- Drive research and development efforts to explore new technologies and methodologies.

- Implement innovative solutions to improve the user experience and enhance the platform's capabilities.

- Evaluate and integrate new technologies that provide a competitive advantage.

Risk Management and Security:

- Develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies to protect the platform and customer data.

- Oversee disaster recovery planning and ensure business continuity.

- Manage technological risks and ensure the integrity of all technological operations and systems.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a senior technology leadership role, ideally within the payment processing or fintech industry in following areas:

- Programming Languages such as React Native, Objective C, Java

- User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) Design

- Designing and providing solutions using RESTful APIs / Micro Services

- Automation testing, Code Quality, Version Control Systems and Secure Coding

- Designing low latency and high throughput applications

- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Practices

- Providing personalized solutions/ recommendations using enterprise marketing management tools and AI/ML. (App Observability)

- Providing end to end observability solutions

- Capacity Planning and Sizing

- Middleware such as Kafka and in memory frameworks such as Redis.

- Strong understanding of payment processing technologies, including B2B and B2C platforms.

- Extensive experience in software development, system architecture, and technology infrastructure.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team of technology professionals.

- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Proven track record of driving innovation and implementing cutting-edge technologies.

- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
