As a Senior Data Engineer, you will transform raw data into valuable insights by creating efficient pipelines, optimizing the Data Engineering Tech Stack, and working with analysts and data scientists to address complex data challenges. Your work will enhance decision-making capabilities for the leadership team, financial brokers, and agencies.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using GCP within OLTP and OLAP and related cloud technologies.

- Align data engineering initiatives and drive innovation in data architecture, pipelines, and integration strategies.

- Ensure data quality, reliability, and scalability with data pipeline performance optimization within OLTP and OLAP.

- Manage access controls and implement security policies for data storage and processing.

- Design and implement data models and ETL processes to meet business requirements.

- Design and implement a distributed streaming platform that can handle large amounts of real-time data with technologies like Apache Kafka and similar technologies.

- Stay updated on advancements in cloud technologies and recommend improvements to existing data systems.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar role.

- Hands-on experience with RBDMS, BI tools, or similar data pipeline platforms.

- Familiar with cloud-based data ecosystems and security practices.

- Collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams.
