Role & responsibilities

• Write and modify robotic welding programs to weld sheet metal components according to specifications.
• Utilize robot programming software and tools to create and test weld paths.
• Optimize weld parameters (e.g., speed, voltage, current) for different materials and weld types.
• Develop and implement new welding strategies and techniques.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose robotic welding system issues, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the robotic welding cell.
• Inspect welds for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Utilize measuring tools and testing equipment to verify weld quality.
• Document weld quality data and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist with the setup and operation of the robotic welding cell.
• Monitor welding processes and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of welding programs, parameters, and maintenance activities.
• Document any issues or problems encountered and the solutions implemented.
