Job Description
Naruvi Hospitals is looking for General Physician to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
- A General Physician, also known as a General Practitioner or GP, is a medical doctor who provides primary care services to patients of all ages
- The job description for a General Physician typically includes the following duties and responsibilities:1
- Patient Consultations: Conduct consultations with patients to diagnose and treat various medical conditions, and provide advice and guidance on maintaining good health and preventing illness
- Medical Examinations: Perform routine medical examinations, including physical examinations and diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and x-rays
- Treatment Planning: Develop treatment plans for patients that may include prescribing medication, making referrals to specialists, and advising on lifestyle changes, such as diet and exercise
- Chronic Disease Management: Manage chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, by providing ongoing care and monitoring of patients
- Medical Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients
- Referrals: Refer patients to specialists and other healthcare providers when necessary
- They should have excellent communication skills, be empathetic, and be able to work effectively in a team environment
- They should have a strong knowledge of common medical conditions and their treatments, as well as an understanding of medical ethics and laws
