Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Head to lead our sales and marketing efforts for industrial and specialty chemicals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and at least 10 years of experience in sales and marketing in the chemical industry. The Sales & Marketing Head will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth, expand our customer base, and increase revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Set sales targets and monitor progress.
2. Marketing and Branding:
- Develop and execute marketing plans to promote our products and services.
- Manage the company's brand identity and ensure consistency across all marketing channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new products and services.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support.
4. Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of sales and marketing professionals.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to team members.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.
5. Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through partnerships, collaborations, and strategic alliances.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, distributors, and industry associations.
Requirements:
1. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience in sales and marketing in the chemical industry.
- Proven track record of success in driving business growth, expanding customer bases, and increasing revenue.
3. Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of chemistry and the chemical industry.
- Excellent sales, marketing, and business development skills.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop strategic plans.
