Job Description
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to identify and report software defects.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand product requirements and translate them into testable scenarios.
- Leverage automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) to automate repetitive test cases and improve test coverage (a plus).
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues not covered by planned test cases.
- Identify and report usability issues and suggest improvements to enhance user experience.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on potential quality concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Document test results and maintain clear, concise test reports.
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, design) throughout the development lifecycle.
- 2+ years of experience in software testing or a related field.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Solid understanding of testing principles and best practices (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing, exploratory testing).
- Experience with manual testing methodologies and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and well-documented test cases.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of defects.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
