Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be to design, develop, and maintain the backend of our python application and models. While backend development is the core of this position, experience and familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, is needed. Additionally, knowledge of CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and Azure is highly desirable.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain python applications and models.
- Ensure the backend architecture is scalable, secure, and performs we'll under load.
- maintain the webapp and ui components.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Perform code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality, reliable code.
- Debug and troubleshoot any backend-related issues that arise during development or production.
- Document processes, technical decisions, and architecture.
Minimum Required Skills and Education:
- Bachelors (IT/Computer Science Preferred); masters Degree preferred (IT/Computer Science Preferred) or equivalent experience. At least 5 years experience in industry.
- Experienced in Python Programming and familiar with python modules and packages for data analytics (pandas, numpy).
- Experience in backend development with Python and Flask.
- experience with RESTful API development and integration.
- familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure).
- familiarity with frontend development (React/Material UI) is needed.
- knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab).
- proficient with version control systems (Gitlab).
- strong understanding of software development best practices, including security, scalability, and performance optimization.
- ability to work independently and collaboratively in a agile team environment.
