The incumbent would be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of recruitment within the Tax practice. This includes developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies, building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, and leading and mentoring a high-performing recruitment team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and Implement Recruitment Strategies:
* To attract and hire top talent across all Tax roles, at Entry, Mid, and Senior level.
* Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify key talent pools and develop targeted sourcing strategies.
* Partner with Tax leadership to understand their hiring needs, build strong relationships, and ensure alignment between recruitment strategies and business objectives.
* Lead and Manage the Recruitment Team:
* Lead, mentor, and coach a team of recruiters, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
* Set clear performance expectations, monitor individual and team performance, and identify areas for improvement.
* Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
* Stakeholder Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Tax practice, including Partners, Directors, Managers, and other key decision-makers.
* Proactively communicate recruitment progress, challenges, and best practices to stakeholders.
* Address stakeholder concerns and proactively identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the recruitment process.
* Employer Branding:
* Contribute to the development and execution of employer branding initiatives to enhance the firm's reputation as an employer of choice within the Tax industry.
* Leverage social media and other channels to promote career opportunities within the Tax practice.
* Data Analysis and Reporting:
* Track and analyze key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, qualify of hire, Candidate experience, Hiring Manager Experience, DEI etc
* Prepare regular reports on recruitment activity and performance for senior leadership.
* Leverage data insights to identify areas for improvement and optimize recruitment processes.
* Stay Current on Industry Trends:
* Stay abreast of current trends in recruitment, talent acquisition, and the Tax Landscape
* Attend industry conferences and participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree. MBA in HR will be good to have.
* 12+ years of experience in recruitment, with at least 5 years of experience Team Management
* Proven experience in recruiting for professional services firms, preferably within the Audit/Accounting/Finance industry.
* Strong understanding of the Tax Landscape and Talent Pool
* Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong leadership, mentorship, and coaching skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
