Senior Developer - Javascript/TypeScript (2-5 yrs)

JOB DESCRIPTION :

It's an exciting time to join our team, we are a newly formed team building an innovative product from the ground up. We have the energy of a startup with the backing and experience of an established company in the industry. Our goal is to disrupt the industry with a modern utility billing solution that can be used by billing companies nationwide.

WHAT YOU WILL DO :

- Directly contribute high-quality and clean code to the product.

- Directly perform complicated or large-scope development tickets.

- Collaborate with the Principal Architect to develop strategy for carrying out technical implementation of assigned high-impact projects.

- Own the end-to-end development process for entire projects and product features.

- Organize development work in order to utilize junior team members on assigned projects.

- Perform code reviews of Pull Requests submitted by junior team members.

- Directly troubleshoot and fix assigned bugs and regressions.

- Participate and facilitate regular Agile ceremonies (daily standup, weekly sprint planning)

- Collaborate with QA for testing and feedback cycles.

- Collaborate with the Product Owner for requirements, documentation, and feedback cycles.

WHAT YOU BRING :

- 8+ years of overall professional experience as a full-stack software engineer.

- Very strong knowledge of both frontend and backend development using Typescript and Node.

- 6+ years of frontend development experience using Angular.

- 4+ years of backend development experience using Node including experience with NestJS or similar Express frameworks.

- 6+ years of backend experience using a relational database such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

- Experience using web UX frameworks such as PrimeNG, Tailwind, Angular Material, or

Bootstrap.

- Ability to take strong feedback and apply correction where needed.

- Strong independent problem-solving skills.

- Excellent English communication skills, both in speaking and writing.

GOOD IF YOU ALSO HAVE :

- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.

- Experience developing software using a Linux desktop environment.

- Experience working with the NX mono repo framework.

- Experience working with Azure DevOps or GitHub pipelines
