Principal - Investment - Venture Capital Fund Domain

Job Description:

Investments:

- Evaluation and Strategic Insight: Collaborate in the comprehensive evaluation of potential new investments across diverse sectors, including but not limited to AI, Big Data, ML, Med-tech, Biotech, Gaming and High- tech, both on a standalone and strategic basis for the group.

- These investments may encompass both listed and unlisted stocks, direct and indirect investment avenues (such as funds), and both domestic and international opportunities.

- Documentation and Analysis: Contribute to the preparation of investment memos, intricate financial models, and other essential materials crucial for making informed investment recommendations.

- Valuation Expertise: Participate in the valuation process for prospective investment companies, leveraging a range of methods including cash flow analysis, comparative analysis, and other relevant techniques.

- Negotiation and Legal Support: Assist in negotiating term sheets and other legal documents required for the establishment and operation of investment funds.

- Due Diligence Management: Play a key role in conducting due diligence on both current and prospective partner organizations, with a focus on geographies such as India, the United States, and Israel.

- Deal Management: Facilitate the end-to-end process of deal documentation, legal review, and financial administration, collaborating closely with departments such as Tax, Legal, and Secretarial as needed.

Portfolio Management:

- Strategic Support: Provide invaluable support to existing portfolio companies and funds, guiding them from the point of investment to eventual exit. This includes assistance with specific initiatives like drafting business plans, fundraising, and creating investor presentations.

- Performance Monitoring: Implement robust monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track portfolio performance at every investment level. This involves the diligent tracking of financial and business metrics through detailed MIS reporting.

Market Analysis and Network Building:

- Market Insight: Keep a vigilant eye on economic and market trends, earnings potential, and financial statements, utilizing a wide array of indicators to inform investment decisions.

- Network Development: Actively cultivate a network of startup advisors, fund managers, and technology entrepreneurs to facilitate knowledge exchange and foster mutually beneficial relationships.
